I met Alicia two years ago when she shot my brother in law’s wedding and have been obsessing over her beautiful photos ever since! I thought of her right away when we started looking into having engagement photos done in winter 2019. Alicia was very quick to respond to my inquiry, was flexible with dates, and offered really great and creative suggestions for locations that would fit our specific vision. During the shoot she immediately scoped out the best spots and lighting, and she had us laughing and having a great time throughout the entire shoot. Both myself and my fiancé are not photogenic and can be kind of awkward in front of a camera but Alicia guided us and suggested poses that felt natural and looked great in the photos. She provided a gallery of sample photos sooner than what she has initially promised, and finished photos shortly thereafter. It took us longer to narrow down our top photos for her to edit than it her to actually edit them and get them back to us! We are already looking forward to working with her in the future.

We met her at a Wedding Show and picked her based on her impressive wedding portfolio and reasonable pricing. The engagement shot was included in the package which was great. Days and weeks leading up to the wedding, Alicia was responsive by email and very supportive in helping me schedule the events and timings of the day based on her expertise. On the day of the wedding she was attentive and thorough, and captured incredible shots despite inclement weather. She even grabbed us midway through dinner service to capture beautiful sunset shots at our outdoor venue, which ended up being some of our favourites! The collection of photos we received were edited perfectly and the turn around time was quick ! Alicia did an excellent job juggling intercultural dynamics during the wedding, as well as getting the lighting right for an interracial couple and our families, which can be difficult. Alicia photographed my daughter's wedding in December, and I cannot begin to express how over the top thrilled we are with her talent and professionalism. I would highly recommend Alicia to anyone! She is not only an amazing photographer, but is extremely organized and very responsive. The week before the wedding, Alicia took the time to sit down with my daughter and go over her 'wedding photo wish list', as well as all of the wedding details and timelines; and Alicia came up with her own schedule to allow for the proper amount of time per photo session/event throughout that day. She arrived hours before the wedding and took photos of all of the setup, the wedding party getting ready, the decor, bride with bridesmaids, groom with groomsmen, etc etc..which allowed for a much shorter 'wedding party and family' photo session immediately following the ceremony. Everyone was able to get right back to the reception and enjoy the evening, which Alicia also caught every key moment of. She was not only personable and friendly but completely professional from start to finish. We had our photos much sooner than we had expected, and there are no words to express how happy we were/are with each and every one of them! The creativity Alicia showed, mixed with her talent as a photographer showed through over and over. My daughter's wedding was at sunset, and the way Alicia caught the light both before and after the sun set was amazing. That wedding day was full of some of the best memories of our lives, and we are so thankful that we trusted Alicia to capture those memories for us!

We first met with Alicia over a year before our wedding date, and we immediately felt like she was the best choice for us. She was extremely friendly, listened intently, and came to the meeting prepared to answer any and all questions we had. My wife and I struggled through our engagement photos as neither of us are very comfortable in front of the camera, but Alicia really caught all of the natural moments and the photos turned out perfectly. When it came time to start thinking about the wedding photos, Alicia was always very quick to get back to us, and provided us with a photo questionnaire so that she would know exactly what we were looking for on the day of.

I was living in Alberta when I first contacted her after finding her on the Ottawa Wedding Show vendor list. I loved her style of photography on her website and felt it was exactly how I envisioned my photos on my big day.
Alicia was very professional and enthusiastic in our conversations. Unfortunately our initial engagement photo date got rained out but Alicia was super accommodating with rescheduling. Her friendly personality made the slightly uncomfortable posing, more comfortable and to our surprise the photos all turned out beautifully which made choosing a few very difficult. After our engagement session, we knew we made the right choice in choosing Alicia for our wedding.
On our wedding day, Alicia came to me for bride prep while her second shooter Sandra went to the boys at groom prep. The bride prep had a few hiccups before Alicia arrived so tensions were higher than I would've liked but Alicia was calm and positive through it all which helped everyone settle in time for our departure to the ceremony. All of our photos throughout the day turned out better than we could've imagined! From our bridal party shots at Rockcliffe Park to our first dance at the Aviation Museum. Alicia captured all of the highlights perfectly & I truly cannot say enough good things about my experience with Alicia and Sandra!!!

Alicia took photos of our family of 4 and our dog. We met her at Black Rapids and she got us set up right away. Our children brought their musical instruments and we got some great photos of them outside alone and together with their instruments. We had some of our own ideas and Alicia was very supportive of allowing us to explore what we were looking for in a family shoot. She also had some great ideas of her own and together we set up some beautiful photos. Alicia demonstrated patience, creativity and professionalism throughout the shoot.
