ABOUT ME!
My name is Alicia, and I am the proud owner of Alicia Hall Photography. I started on my photography journey eight years ago, and every moment since has been as rewarding as it has been exciting. Who would have thought that a high school photography class would have led me to a career that I absolutely love? After completing my Ontario College Diploma in Photography and becoming certified as a professional photographer, I knew I couldn't stop there.
A wedding is made up of much more than the photographs (and don't worry, I've got that covered). Understanding that there are so many little details that come together to create the perfect wedding day, I knew I wanted to learn more about the ins and outs of planning such an event. I, therefore, decided to complete a second diploma in Events Management – the ideal program to complement my photography business.
While Alicia Hall Photography is a business, I don't want you to feel like you are part of a transaction. Regardless of which package you choose, you can expect me to be your sidekick, your right hand, your friend, your stress reliever, your confidante, your timeline planner, and your vendor recommender (yes, I will happily help you book your vendors!). I truly appreciate every little detail that goes into making your day remarkable. I want to know what makes you tick, what makes you genuinely smile and what your version of "perfect" means for your special day.
There have been so many highlights throughout my six -year career, but the one thing that I cherish above all is getting to work with countless amazing clients who have become friends. The opportunity to connect with so many different people and capture their love is indescribable!
When I'm not behind the camera…
You can find me at your nearest Starbucks (or any other coffee shop for that matter) sipping on a hot cup of tea, Chai Latte preferred.
You can sometimes find me travelling the globe. From the Rockies of Kimberly, BC, to the bustling city of Nantes, France and the countryside of McKinney, Texas, I have jumped at any opportunity to shoot a destination wedding. I LOVE to travel. How could I resist combining two of my passions?
You can also find me hanging out with the ones I love; my friends, family and my husband! Oliver and I got married in May 2023 after dating for 11 years. We met in elementary school (gr.2) and started dating in high school. (Shout out to high school for introducing me to another one of my favourite things). Since then, he has become my best friend, travel buddy, and go-to handyman. Oliver is a full-time carpenter (and full-time sarcasm enthusiast), so no need to guess who will be responsible for all the renovations of our new home. I couldn't be more excited to start this new chapter together!
Anyway, enough about me. I want to hear about you! If you would like to get in touch, please click on the contact tab. I would love to be part of your special day, and I cannot wait to hear all about it!
